Drugs and alcohol promote what are essentially anti-thesis of the things you want to achieve. They bring in negative effects on an individual's resistance and strength. They pollute your body with chemicals. They distract you from achieving your goals. Because they bring considerable damage to one's mind and body, drugs and alcohol should never be taken by those wanting to be physically fit. If you want to achieve a fit body, improve your everyday health, or simply to ensure that you live a longer life, staying away from drugs and alcohol is something that you should always prioritize.
